Job summary

Steel Fabricators, L.L.C. is seeking a Construction Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage billing, collections, and financial records for construction projects on a full-time basis in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities include issuing invoices, tracking receivables, and maintaining accurate records with project managers. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience, experience with accounting software, and strong communication and organizational skills to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
Experience with construction accounting is a plus.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Billing & invoicing: issue invoices for completed work and coordinate with project managers.
Collections: contact clients to confirm receivables and resolve overdue accounts.
Recordkeeping: maintain accurate accounting records and lien documents.
Reconciliation: record daily cash receipts, run aging reports, and reconcile bank activity.
Discrepancy Resolution: investigate billing errors and resolve client inquiries.
Confidentiality: protect financial data and comply with guidelines.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
