MCIS Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer billing and collections, ensuring accurate and timely cash flow.

You will oversee AIA billing, invoice creation, payment posting, and account reconciliation, collaborating with operations and finance to maintain compliant records. The role is a 3-month contract with a potential permanent move, located fully in-office at our Dallas, TX 75237 site, Monday through Friday.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; accounting degree preferred, or 3+ years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of customer ledgers and AR aging reports.
• Understanding of chart of accounts and accurate data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• On-site in Dallas, TX 75237, Monday–Friday.

Aufgaben

• Review and validate AIA payment applications for accuracy and approvals
• Create and process customer invoices from approved AIA applications
• Review project estimates for accuracy in estimating software
• Generate project contracts and import into accounting systems
• Reconcile AR balances and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up
• Resolve billing issues with customers and internal teams
• Assist with month-end close and audit documentation
• Send payment reminders and collections inquiries
