Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full AR cycle, ensure accurate billing and timely cash application, and drive collections. You will oversee customer accounts, contribute to accounting projects, and leverage ERP systems and Excel for clear financial reporting.

Responsibilities include monitoring payments, resolving past-due balances, applying payments, billing accuracy, and producing weekly statements for major customers.

Competenze

• 2+ years of experience with accounts receivable, billing, and collections for a >$50M-revenue organization.
• 2+ years of cash receipts and applying payments to customer accounts.
• 2+ years of ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Workday, Dynamics GP, or QuickBooks).
• 2+ years using Excel for data analysis (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Hands-on AR processes experience including billing, collections, and cash applications.

• Oversee AR customer accounts and timely payment collection.
• Drive past-due collections, disputes, and payment resolution.
• Apply customer payments in order management system to AR records.
• Manage billing to ensure accurate, prompt invoices.
• Perform cash applications and apply payments to correct accounts/invoices.
• Create and distribute weekly statements for large customers.
• Support ad hoc accounting reports and special projects.
• Collaborate with accounting team to improve processes and accuracy.
• Analyze AR data using Excel (sorting, filtering, basic pivots, VLOOKUPs).
• Maintain strong attention to detail and accurate financial entries.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders about billing/collections.
