Job summary

Dallas Mechanical Group, Inc. seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead accurate AR and construction billing activities. This role collaborates with Project Management, Accounting, general contractors, customers, and vendors to ensure timely collections and compliant invoicing.

The position requires AR expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication to resolve billing issues and maintain records in a fast-paced construction environment. Office-based role in Texas.

Qualifications

• Strong AR, billing, and collections knowledge.
• Construction billing processes including AIA, pay applications, retainage, change orders, and waivers.
• Experience with revenue recognition, job cost reporting, and AR management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process construction project billing per contracts and deadlines.
• Review AR aging and collect overdue payments; coordinate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain billing documentation, change orders, retainage tracking, and tax considerations.
• Assist with project cost reporting and month-end close related to accounts receivable.
