Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an AR Specialist for a contract-to-hire, fully onsite role in Gaithersburg, MD. You will manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, post payments, and conduct collections to ensure accurate cash flow and proper reconciliations.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external customers, prepare month-end close support, and handle W-9s, COIs, and lien releases in line with policy. Schedule is 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experienced in full-cycle accounts receivable.
• Experience with high-volume collections and resolving discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable activities including daily cash deposits.
• Apply customer payments accurately and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Conduct daily collections and report bi-weekly account status to management.
• Process and reconcile credit card payments to customer accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and issue W-9s, COIs, and lien releases as required.
• Maintain records in vendor and customer portals.
• Provide cross-functional support and backup coverage for AR operations.
• Perform additional duties to support AR efficiency.
