Job summary

Staff Financial Group is seeking a Construction Accounting / Accounts Payable Specialist for a full-time, in-office role in Suwanee, GA. The position focuses on construction AP with growth into broader accounting leadership over time.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years of accounting experience, construction accounting expertise, and solid knowledge of COIs, lien waivers, and job costing. Procore experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Construction accounting experience required.
• 2–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with COIs, lien waivers, and vendor compliance is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction accounts payable workflows.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 300 construction invoices per month.
• Manage the full construction accounts payable process.
• Review vendor compliance documents (COIs, lien waivers).
• Perform accurate job cost coding for projects.
• Support month-end accounting activities as responsibilities expand.
