Job summary

ZipApply is seeking a Construction Accountant to join our Norcross, GA office. This full-time, in-office role supports construction accounting, project accounting, and financial operations with a clear path toward leadership within the accounting department.

Ideal candidates have 2–7+ years of construction accounting experience, strong knowledge of COIs and lien waivers, and familiarity with Procore and QuickBooks Enterprise. Opportunity for career growth is a focus of this role.

Qualifications

• Construction accounting experience is required.
• 2–7+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of construction job costing, project accounting, COIs, lien waivers and paid-when-paid processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction accounting activities across multiple projects.
• Process construction invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Perform job costing and monitor project costs.
• Administer construction accounts payable and vendor payments.
• Review COIs, lien waivers, and vendor documentation.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and GL maintenance.
• Assist with Procore implementation and optimization.
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure accuracy.
