Job summary

Iovino Enterprises, a parent company to four New York City–based construction companies, seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor for an in-person, Monday–Friday role. You will oversee daily AP operations, manage vendor payments, and mentor AP staff while ensuring compliance with contract terms and internal controls.

Responsibilities include CMiC data entry, month-end close support, and coordination of check runs, ACH, and wire payments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in construction.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
• Experience with CMiC and construction accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP operations, including invoice entry, coding, and payment processing.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor payments, ensuring contract terms compliance in Textura.
• Supervise and mentor AP staff; delegate workload effectively.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate bi weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments.
• Resolve vendor discrepancies and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist with the implementation of new systems and processes.
• Setup and maintenance of vendor accounts.
