Job summary

Jet Industries Inc. is hiring an Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day transactional work across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. The role processes and reconciles transactions, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness within established controls.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in accounting support, familiarity with Vista/ServiceTitan/ADP, and a degree in accounting. This onsite position supports month-end tasks and tax reporting with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping support experience (AP, AR, or payroll).
Experience across multiple functions preferred.
Experience with Vista and ServiceTitan preferred.
Experience with ADP or other payroll software preferred.
Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work within controls.

Responsibilities

Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system and code to the correct entity, job, and GL account.
Reconcile vendor statements and prepare check runs; follow up on payment status.
Manage collections and process AR transactions; assist with billing questions.
Prepare CPRs and payroll compliance reporting; assist with 401(k) administration.
