Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide administrative and transactional support to the Accounting Department. You will assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing documentation, reconciliations, data entry, and month-end activities.

This on-site role at the Tuscaloosa, Alabama facility requires strong data entry, attention to detail, and proficiency with ERP systems. Collaboration with Controllers, Purchasing, and project teams is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred associate degree.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or related experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or project-accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices: code, enter, and match with PO/receiving records.
• Process accounts receivable: issue invoices and apply payments; monitor aging.
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting files and records.
• Support internal audits and maintain internal controls and documentation.
