Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience is required.
• Proficient with Yardi or ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices with proper coding, approvals, and documentation.
• Enter and maintain invoices, payments, and credit memos in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process electronic payments (checks, ACH, wires).
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in month-end close, including AP accruals and reporting.
• Monitor expense reports and ensure policy compliance.
• Proactively communicate with vendors about payment status.
