Job summary

White Cap is seeking an Account Manager to build relationships and drive sales for mid-size accounts in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will generate leads, develop plans, and coordinate with sales and operations to deliver solutions.

The role requires 2–5 years in inside sales or account management, strong communication, CRM use, and the ability to work with vendors and customers to meet quotas. A valid driver’s license and willingness to operate a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in a customer support or inside sales role in construction supply.
• Strong numerical and calculator skills for estimates and pricing.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; learn BlueBeam quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service for Sales and Rental products and enter orders.
• Manage a weekly schedule with the Sales Manager and calendar commitments.
• Develop knowledge of product pricing and company offerings.
• Qualify leads and pursue opportunities in the CRM system.
• Maintain market awareness and support revenue growth targets.
• Collaborate with sales, vendors, and operations to fulfill orders.
• Handle >60 day receivables with customers and follow up as needed.
• Prepare proposals and assist with scope development and pricing.
