Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Albuquerque, NM to join its accounting team on-site. You will handle invoice processing, vendor payments, and QuickBooks entries in a construction environment.

The role reports to the Controller and focuses on job costing support, vendor record maintenance, and timely, accurate processing of about 100 invoices each week. A detail-oriented team player with strong communication will thrive.

Qualifications

• Strong accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and invoice processing.
• Experience in construction accounting or job costing is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good teamwork and clear communication are essential.
• Degree not required.

Responsibilities

• Process about 100 invoices per week with accuracy.
• Enter and code invoices in QuickBooks and code to job costs.
• Support vendor payments and AP documentation.
• Maintain vendor records and payment files.
• Communicate invoice questions with vendors and internal team.
• Assist Controller with AP-related tasks and month-end close.
