Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on processing a high volume of invoices in QuickBooks Online, coding to jobs and cost categories, and ensuring timely approvals.

The successful candidate adds value through attention to detail, strong organization, and teamwork within a busy accounting department. Contract to hire, offering exposure to construction-related accounting and job-costing nuances, with direct interaction to the Controller.

Qualifications

• Prior accounts payable experience.
• Experience processing invoices in a fast-paced environment.
• QuickBooks Online experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple invoices.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 100 vendor invoices per week.
• Review invoices for accuracy, coding and appropriate approvals.
• Enter and maintain AP transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Code expenses to the appropriate accounts, jobs and cost categories.
• Assist with vendor account maintenance and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding items.
• Maintain organized AP documentation and supporting records.
• Communicate with vendors and internal team members regarding invoices and payments.
• Support the Controller and accounting team with additional AP and accounting needs.
