Providence PACE Napa seeks a Constant Care Attendant to develop cognitive and sensory activities for the elderly in the community, with driving to reach participants across Solano, Napa and parts of Sonoma counties. Schedule: Saturday to Wednesday, 1pm–9pm.

This on-site role emphasizes a person-centered approach to help participants stay active and independent, supported by Providence's comprehensive benefits and mission.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred.
• Driving is required; must provide valid driver license and auto insurance upon request.
• Experience working with older adults and dementia.

The Constant Care Attendant creates and develops cognitive and sensory programs in the three activity spheres of Productivity, Self-Care, and Leisure to engage the participants in the PACE program. Facilitates individual activities to complement the uniqueness of each person. Uses a person-centered approach to maintain a healthy social environment for the adults.

Required qualifications:

• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.


• Driving is a necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.


• Experience working with older adults and adults with dementia.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
