Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Constant Care Attendant for the PACE program in California. You will create and develop cognitive and sensory activities across Productivity, Self-Care, and Leisure to engage participants in our community.

This role requires driving to visit participants in Solano, Napa and parts of Sonoma counties, with a weekend schedule of Saturday to Wednesday from 1pm to 9pm, and a person-centered approach that supports independence and meaningful activity.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
• Driving is required; provide driver's license and auto insurance upon request.
• Experience working with older adults and individuals with dementia.

The Constant Care Attendant creates and develops cognitive and sensory programs in the three activity spheres of Productivity, Self-Care, and Leisure to engage the participants in the PACE program. Facilitates individual activities to complement the uniqueness of each person. Uses a person-centered approach to maintain a healthy social environment for the adults.

Required qualifications:

• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Driving is a necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• Experience working with older adults and adults with dementia.

$25.00 - $30.81
