Job summary

Lewis Brisbois in Houston seeks a Conflicts Manager to lead the Conflicts Department, ensuring timely, accurate conflicts services and strict policy compliance. Hybrid work with remote possibilities is available.

You will oversee workflow, supervise staff, and coordinate with leadership on complex matters and risk management. The role requires a minimum of seven years in law firm conflicts, plus three years of supervisory experience, and familiarity with Intapp and Aderant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum seven (7) years of law firm conflicts experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience.
• Experience with Intapp, Aderant, or other conflicts and intake systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Conflicts Department, ensuring timely and accurate completion of conflicts requests and related services.
• Directly supervises the Conflicts Supervisor and other personnel, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Participates in recruiting and hiring processes and employment-related decisions.
• Oversees timesheets, PTO requests, coverage and resource assignments.
• Partners with the Lead Conflicts Partner and Conflicts Attorneys on complex matters and departmental initiatives.
• Requires knowledge of conflicts processes, intake procedures, and risk management principles.
• Leads leadership and personnel management activities to support firm objectives.
