Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Conflicts Analyst to support the Firm’s new business intake and conflicts review processes.

This role will ensure the accuracy of new business information, conduct conflicts searches, prepare reports for review by Conflicts Attorneys and Department Management, and assist with researching and resolving potential conflicts of interest in accordance with applicable ethical standards and Firm policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least three years of corporate experience, preferably in a legal environment.
• Strong research experience and understanding of relevant legal topics.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Review new business intake requests for accuracy and completeness and conduct corporate research on clients and related parties.
• Perform conflicts searches and prepare reports and summaries for Conflicts Attorneys and Department Management.
• Assist with researching and resolving conflicts issues, drafting consent letters, and tracking approvals.
• Support ethical wall procedures, including drafting and distributing screening memoranda.
• Maintain conflicts database integrity and assist with special projects as needed.
