Job summary

iT1 is seeking a Configuration Technician II in Utah to set up, configure, and deploy client assets. You will be a pivotal liaison between iT1 Consulting and clients, handling imaging, hardware/software installations, and troubleshooting across multiple platforms.

The role demands 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Occasional travel is required; full-time benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• A+ certification or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows and macOS.
• Familiarity with common desktop applications.
• Strong hardware knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Imaging laptops and desktops.
• Hardware and software installations and configurations.
• Troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware and software issues.
• Bench testing refurbished devices such as PC, monitors, switches, phones.
• Desktop and laptop repair.
• Server hardware configuration.
• Small office installs.
• Documentation.
