Job summary

iT1 is seeking a skilled Configuration Technician II to join their team in Riverton, UT. You will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and deploying client assets while acting as a key point of contact between iT1 Consulting and its customers.

This role involves diagnosing issues with computers and peripherals, training team members, and performing quality control. The position is temporary for 12 months and offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of common desktop applications.
• Ability to work full time.
• Dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure computers and peripheral.
• Diagnose problems with malfunctioning devices.
• Perform quality control on assigned projects.
• Train team members on processes and tools.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop computer hardware

Working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems

Ability to multi-task

Education

A+ certification or comparable experience
