Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a production operator to run plant machinery and adhere to safety policies to deliver quality concrete products. You will operate equipment and monitor processes to ensure efficiency and consistency on the production line.

As part of a collaborative team, you will inspect finished products, set up and clean machinery, and help maintain accurate production records, while following safety guidelines and contributing to a cross-trained workforce.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of production experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety procedures and manuals.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance if needed.
• Must wear PPE including ear plugs, hard hat, steel toe shoes and protective glasses.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to produce concrete products from raw materials to yard stage.
• Inspect product quality according to standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records.
• Monitor machinery to detect malfunctions and report issues.
• Perform machine set-up and cleanup during job changes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area in the assigned zone.
• Cross-train on other production aspects as needed.
• Maintain high accuracy in all tasks.
• Follow housekeeping and safety procedures.
