Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a concrete mixer truck driver to operate a ready-mix concrete truck and deliver to job sites. You will follow dispatcher directions, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and keep the vehicle clean. Duties include shoveling, yard work, and maintaining safety procedures.

Qualifications include a valid Class B CDL, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read and interpret safety rules. Weekend and night work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid minimum Class B CDL.
• High school diploma or equivalent; or 1 year related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher or Plant Manager for deliveries and follow dispatch instructions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle; report maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck and perform yard work as needed.
• Read delivery tickets, obtain signatures, and document customer information.
