Pramira Inc. seeks a Concrete Laborer to join the outside plant division in Palmdale, CA. You will support construction crews, operate hand and power tools, and help prepare and finish concrete surfaces while following safety protocols.

This role emphasizes physical endurance and precise workmanship. Responsibilities include site setup, equipment handling, conduit placement, documentation, and collaboration with team members to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Self-motivated with ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with coworkers.
• Ability to exert heavy physical effort and lift heavy objects; kneel, crouch, balance, climb or crawl.
• Frequent use of hand and pneumatic tools (tampers, compactors, 60 & 90lb jackhammer).
• Ability to assist in installation of conduit, hand holes, vaults, manholes and cable.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction sites to remove hazards.
• Assist crew members with construction tasks.
• Use hand and power tools to finish concrete surfaces.
• Smooth and level concrete surfaces with trowels and other tools.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete mixtures.
• Install anchors, forms, and other fixtures in concrete.
• Check the quality of the finished product.
• Load, transport, and unload tools and materials safely.
• Dig trenches and manage earth removal or compaction.
• Assist with conduit and cable placement; perform site cleanup.
• Complete required company documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain safety practices in accordance with Pramira’s standards.

Job Description

The Concrete Laborer is a member of our outside plant division, is directed by the Construction Foreman, accountable to ensure accuracy related to tasks and follow all policies and procedures related to safety, quality and production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
• Assist crew members with construction work as required
• Use hand and power tools to finish concrete surfaces.
• Smooth and level concrete surfaces with trowels and other tools.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete mixtures.
• Install anchors, forms, and other fixtures in concrete.
• Check the quality of the finished product.
• Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment in a safe manner
• Dig trenches and remove, fill, or compact earth
• Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces
• Assist with the handling and placement of conduit and cables
• Perform site clean-up
• Complete all required Company documentation
• Other duties as assigned
• Must always comply with proper safety standards/procedures and work practices while operating equipment according to Pramira’s safety standards.

• Must have the ability to assist in the installation of conduit, hand holes, vaults, manholes and cable.
• Must pass a Drug Test & Background Check

Additional Information

Pay range:$21-$26/hr DOE
