Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist (APS) to serve as the warm, welcoming face of our dispensary while upholding safety, compliance, and guest-first service. This role blends hospitality, customer service, and safety leadership to enhance the guest journey and support team operations.

The APS will greet guests, manage check-in, monitor entry points and perimeters, de-escalate situations with empathy, escort guests as needed, and reinforce our culture and brand values

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer-facing or concierge experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with guest-first service.
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be 21 years or older and meet cannabis employment requirements.
• Must be compliant with legal or company cannabis regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency.
• Monitor store entry/exit and perimeters to ensure safety, comfort, and compliance.
• De-escalate situations with empathy and clear communication.
• Escort customers and support safety, cleanliness, and guest flow; report incidents promptly.
