Job summary

Green Thumb Industries and RISE Dispensaries seek an Asset Protection Specialist to be the welcoming, concierge-style face of the store while upholding safety and compliance. This role blends hospitality, customer service and security leadership to enhance the guest journey and team experience.

The APS will stay active, mobile, and ready to respond, supporting training and cross-functional collaboration while maintaining a calm, professional presence on the dispensary floor.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus.
• Able to work varying shifts including mornings, days, nights and weekends.
• Reliable attendance and ability to pass background checks for cannabis employment.
• Hold a valid driver's license or state ID and be 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-in with professionalism.
• Maintain safety, deter incidents, monitor entry/exit areas and perimeters.
• De-escalate situations with empathy and communicate clearly.
• Escort visitors as needed and support store operations on safety and guest flow.
• Report safety, security or compliance incidents promptly.
