Lumi Nails & MedSpa in Chicago seeks a Front Desk Concierge who will greet clients, manage bookings, and support brand and social media efforts. The role combines hospitality with content creation to elevate the guest experience.

You will handle appointments, payments, and client communications, while contributing to Lumi’s online voice and content strategy. This is a hands-on, luxury-brand position in a busy spa environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of front desk or client-facing experience, preferably in a salon, spa, medspa, hotel, or luxury retail environment.
• Strong social media skills with an Instagram account having consistent engagement.
• Content creation ability: comfortable shooting photos and video on an iPhone, editing in Canva or CapCut, and writing engaging captions.
• Excellent communication skills—warm and professional on the phone, in person, in writing, and on social media.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage a busy appointment book and multiple client requests.
• Tech-savvy: comfortable learning booking software (Boulevard), POS systems, Google Workspace, Instagram Business, and email marketing platforms.
• Knowledge of or genuine interest in beauty, skincare, nails, and wellness; positive, calm energy on busy days.

Responsibilities

• Greet every client by name with warmth and professionalism; manage the appointment book across providers.
• Handle client communications and payments; apply gift cards, memberships, and packages; upsell services and retail.
• Address client concerns, schedule changes, and cancellations with grace and speed.
• Maintain the front desk, reception area, displays, and refreshment station in Lumi's brand style.
• Create, schedule, and publish content for Lumi's Instagram; edit photos and videos; write captions.
• Monitor reviews and assist email marketing; track basic social metrics for monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and CEO on brand and social media direction.
