Distro is seeking a Spa Desk Attendant in New York, NY to serve as the primary contact for our spa guests, ensuring a welcoming and luxurious experience from arrival to departure.

As part of our front desk team, you will manage appointments with Mindbody or Book4Time, offer informed treatment recommendations, and coordinate with therapists to maintain a serene environment. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of spa reception, front desk, or luxury hospitality experience required.
• Working knowledge of spa services and wellness terminology.
• Experience with spa management software such as Mindbody or Book4Time.
• Calm, composed demeanor with ability to manage high-volume booking periods.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine enthusiasm for wellness and luxury service.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome spa members and guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage appointment scheduling, modification, and cancellation with spa software.
• Provide recommendations on treatments, services, packages, and wellness programming.
• Drive bookings and upsell upgrades and retail products.
• Maintain reception area and waiting spaces to luxury standards.
• Coordinate with therapists, estheticians, and locker room staff.
• Maintain guest records and contraindication forms.
