Job summary

ConnectiveRx in Pittsburgh seeks a Patient Support Specialist to provide access to care for prescription medications. You will interact with patients, physicians, and pharmacies, guiding them through copay assistance programs with empathy and clarity.

You will respond to inquiries, support eligibility and reimbursement processes, and work with internal teams to resolve issues, ensuring a smooth patient experience throughout the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in healthcare or case management in high-volume center.
• Experience in pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, or medical billing preferred.
• Call center metrics and performance management experience a plus.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience with call center software (Five9, In-Contact) a plus.
• Willingness to be trained on programs and clients.
• Knowledge of pharmacy benefits and medical billing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls and claims to assist access to care and reimbursement.
• Focus on patient empathy and consumer experience to ease program use and drive adherence.
• Escalate requests as needed and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Perform other assignments as needed.
