Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Admissions to ensure resident rooms are prepared and ready for move-in.
• Verify equipment, oxygen, bed availability, and terminal cleaning is complete.
• Assemble and deliver welcome baskets for new residents.
• Greet and escort new residents to their rooms, providing reassurance and a positive first impression.
• Provide empathetic support to families and address concerns promptly.
• Respond to resident call bells and notify staff as needed.
• Follow grievance processes to resolve concerns effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and Resident Council sessions as required.
• Assist with tours and room changes when Admissions is unavailable.
• Submit concierge follow-up forms within 48 hours of admissions and before discharges.
• Report daily progress notes to administration.
• Coordinate with laundry to retrieve belongings for readmissions.
• Organize discharge gift bags and maintain supply inventory.
• Schedule and oversee smoking sessions for designated residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

Position Summary

Boca Circle Rehabilitation Center is seeking a warm, compassionate, and service-focused Concierge to elevate the experience of our residents and their families. As a key member of our team, you will ensure a smooth and welcoming transition into our community while providing exceptional hospitality and ongoing support throughout each resident’s stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Admissions to ensure resident rooms are fully prepared, including verifying equipment, oxygen, and bed availability.
• Confirm rooms are move-in ready (functional lights, call bells, TVs, cleared belongings, and completed terminal cleaning).
• Assemble and deliver welcome baskets with essential comfort items.
• Personally greet and escort new residents to their rooms, offering reassurance and a positive first impression.
• Provide attentive support to families, addressing concerns with empathy, professionalism, and urgency.
• Respond to resident call bells, assisting directly or notifying appropriate staff.
• Follow the established grievance process to resolve concerns promptly and effectively.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and Resident Council sessions as required.
• Assist with facility tours and room changes, especially when Admissions is unavailable.
• Complete concierge follow-up forms within 48 hours of new admissions and prior to scheduled discharges.
