Option Care Health, Inc. in Nashville, TN is hiring a Compounding Technician II under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist to prepare medications in a clean room, performing compounding for at least 50% of the shift to ensure safe, accurate operations and compliance with state standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with prescription compounding, calculation of dosages, ensuring quality control, maintaining accurate temperature and cleaning logs, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license/registration as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications in accordance with policies and state standards.
• Assist with ensuring quality standards by reviewing compounded and packaged medications.
