Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician I to support compounding and dispensing in a clean room environment. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will prepare medications, label products, and help ensure safe, accurate operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; regulatory compliance and basic MS Office skills are expected. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered if required by state.
• Able to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies per policies and state standards.
• Prepare medications to ensure accurate compounding and labeling.
• Record and maintain pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs; ensure laminar flow hoods are cleaned.
• Inspect equipment and document any failures or defects; maintain a clean work area.
