Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Ohio to oversee compounding capabilities, ensure patient safety, and maintain compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations.

You will perform and document compounding procedures, train staff, review materials, and work with R&D on new formulations while upholding USP <795>, <800> and HIPAA requirements. Flexible day shifts available, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Active Ohio Pharmacist license.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Ability to work flexible shift times.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document compounding procedures, QA/QC checks, and dispensing of compounded preparations.
• Train and evaluate compounding personnel.
• Review and approve materials for use in compounding.
• Oversee equipment use to compound prescription orders and monitor the environment.
• Work with R&D on development and scale-up of new compounded formulations.
• Follow safety, USP, BOP, and internal guidelines for preparation of compounded medications.
• Perform pharmacist-related activities such as patient consultation and error documentation.
