Qualifications

• 3+ years in Patient Access/Scheduling preferred.
• Some college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete clinical, demographic and financial information during scheduling.
• Enter data in scheduling system; provide prep and appointment instructions.
• Schedule complex procedures with accuracy.
• Coordinate communications for schedule modifications with clinical areas.
• Answer calls per scripting; maintain positive customer service.
• Notify customers of physician orders and pre-authorization requirements.
• Perform functions of other PASU/registration tasks when requested.
