Job summary

Vail Resorts in Wisconsin invites applications for winter seasonal roles. As part of the Events team, you’ll assist with registration, course setup and breakdown, timing, and maintenance for on-hill events, races, and competitions. Advanced skiing ability is required for events and coverage.

Starting wage is $20/hour with a winter seasonal contract for 2026/2027. Housing is not available, and positions require physical work at high elevations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Lift/push up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work outdoors in potentially inclement weather for up to 8 hours.
• Able to walk uphill at high elevations.
• Willing to perform physical work and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow and adhere to all company and departmental service standards.
• Maintain safety and perform course setup and breakdown for events.
• Assist with registration, course timing, and event maintenance.
• Work in a fast-paced, outdoor mountain environment.

Job Requirements:

• Lift/push up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) as well as manual excavation tools (shovel, pick, etc.).
• Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp,feel, hear, see, and carry.
• Able to walk uphill at high elevations
• Participate in repetitive motions.
• Often required to begin work early.
• Ability to be outside in potentially inclement weather for up to 8hours

The expected pay range is$20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
