Vail Resorts in Colorado is now hiring for winter 2026/27 across multiple roles including Cooks, Drivers, Instructors and more. Join a mountain-team culture built on outdoor passion, guest service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or facilities
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working both inside and outside in seasonal environments
• Ability to perform heavy work (up to 100 pounds)

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance checks of boilers, fire pumps, emergency generators, etc.
• Complete work orders for maintenance / repair in condominium units and buildings
• Maintain a safety-first mindset
• Communicate effectively with department management and other stakeholders
• Accurately document completed work
• Provide exceptional guest service as needed
• Maintain tools and work areas
• Identifying and communicating inventory needs
• Other duties as assigned by department management

Job Summary: The Maintenance Crew team performs critical operations in the base area to deliver an incredible arrival experience. This mid-level position is a great opportunity to learn new skills and gain knowledge in many aspects of maintenance and resort operations.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience


• Follow procedures and guidelines to stay safe and keep your team safe – your safety is our priority


• Comfortable working both inside and outside in seasonal environments


• Ability to perform heavy work (defined as exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects)


• Ability to work standing on your feet and performing physical work consistently


• Ability to work weekends and holidays

The expected pay range is$22.00/hr - $27.70/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
