Job summary

Generate Capital is seeking a Compensation & People Operations Analyst in New York to translate compensation philosophy into world‑class programs. You will partner with Finance, Legal, and HR teams, build market-driven programs, and communicate them clearly.

Expect balanced analytics, system work, and cross‑functional collaboration. You’ll help manage base pay, bonuses, equity timing, budgets, and open enrollment, while maintaining data accuracy in UKG Ready and preparing workforce reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years in broad-based compensation or people operations.
• Strong data analytics and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing the compensation strategy (base, bonus, long-term incentives).
• Conduct market research and benchmarking analyses to inform compensation decisions.
• Support the implementation and management of a new compensation system.
• Assist in the annual compensation planning process and reporting to leadership.
• Collaborate with People and Finance on budgets and equity timelines.
• Work with Talent and senior leaders to align compensation with performance management.
• Advise leaders on market trends and key decisions affecting compensation.
• Create communications and educational content on compensation and equity.
• Maintain data in UKG Ready and run data audits and reports.
• Support system implementations and process documentation.
• Coordinate immigration cases with external counsel.
• Assist benefits enrollment and eligibility updates.
• Prepare and reconcile compensation changes with Payroll.
