Job summary

Savvy Wealth is seeking a Compensation Operations Manager to own the payout discipline end to end. You will sit in Finance, report to the Head of Finance, and work with advisory operations, trading, billing, and post-sales teams while communicating directly with advisors.

You will be the owner of monthly payouts, advisor money stack, and end-to-end processes, building scalable, well-documented workflows and ensuring accuracy and trust in payouts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, payroll, commissions, revenue operations, or business operations with a recurring monthly money process.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel is required; able to build and audit multi-input calculations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a low tolerance for unexplained variances.
• Comfort chasing information across an organization; coordinating with multiple teams.
• Strong written communication; able to explain compensation calculations clearly.
• Working fluency with AI tools and judicious use of AI in finance.

Responsibilities

• Run the monthly advisor payout cycle end-to-end for individuals and advisor teams, including edge cases.
• Build each payout from contract terms from gross to net payouts; net fees from advisor services.
• Reconcile payouts before funds move; investigate discrepancies and stand behind the numbers.
• Own the broader advisor money stack: admin the advisor loan program, equity distributions, budgets, and payroll escalations.
• Triage advisor platform-fee invoicing and collections; map deposits from third-party partners to advisors.
• Document processes and close control gaps; partner with Data and Engineering to move work off spreadsheets.
