Job summary

Ocean-Casino-Resort in Atlantic City, NJ seeks a Compensation Specialist to support HR compensation data entry, reporting, and HRIS maintenance. You will partner with managers to ensure accurate compensation data and respond to inquiries.

This role requires a bachelor's degree or 3+ years analytical experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of HRIS. On-site role with benefits such as health care, 401k, PTO, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or minimum 3 years’ experience in analytical role.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, tracks, and processes internal staffing changes (e.g., transfers, promotions, terminations).
• Audits and maintains data integrity of HRIS system.
• Maintains and tracks GITCA enrollments.
• Provides guidance to management on compensation processes and procedures.
• Collaborates with department managers on reporting and compensation-related projects.
• Issues and tracks tip credit letters annually.
• Assists with union auto progression increases and annual increases.
• Assists with HRIS, performance review, and timekeeping projects.
• Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary grades.
• Generates HR reports including compensation matrix and salary surveys.
• Prepares regulatory reports.
