Job summary

Ocean-Casino-Resort in Atlantic City, NJ seeks an Operations Performance Analyst to optimize workforce efficiency through analytics. You will work with department operators, Finance, and HR to forecast labor models and improve customer satisfaction, reporting to the Director of Operations Analysis.

The role requires strong Excel and SQL skills, a college degree in a related field, and proven analytics experience.

Qualifications

College degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics or related field or equivalent work experience.
Proven professional analytics experience.
Working knowledge of statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

Add efficiency to operations by refining payroll and labor-related costs.
Implement and analyze a labor management reporting system comparing actual vs. standardized hours.
Prepare periodic financial labor efficiency reports.
Advise business units on scheduling and leave management.
Forecast operating department volumes to aid staffing decisions.
Review labor efficiency with management and adjust schedules as needed.
Identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
Analyze staffing data to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Collaborate with department heads to modify staffing models and approve changes.
