Job summary

Ocean Casino Resort is seeking a Compensation Specialist to support the compensation function within Human Resources. You will perform data entry, maintain HRIS records, and assist with salary classifications and market analyses.

The role reports to the Manager Compensation & Performance and requires strong Excel and MS Office proficiency. You will regularly audit HRIS data, manage GITCA enrollments, and collaborate with department managers on reporting and compensation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 3 years’ analytical experience.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems.
• Proven analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, tracks, and processes internal staffing changes (e.g., transfers, promotions, terminations).
• Regularly audits and maintains data integrity of HRIS system.
• Maintains and tracks GITCA enrollments.
• Provides guidance to management on compensation processes and procedures.
• Collaborates with department managers on reporting and compensation-related projects.
• Issues and tracks tip credit letters annually.
• Assists with union auto progression increases, annual increases, and off cycle increases.
• Assists with special projects related to HRIS, performance reviews, and timekeeping systems.
• Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary grades.
• Maintains HR reports including compensation matrix, performance reviews, salary surveys.
• Prepares, updates, and submits required regulatory reports.
• Gathers market-based compensation data; analyzes results and market trends.
