Job summary

Legence is seeking a detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to design, analyze, and evaluate compensation programs. You will lead market pricing, benchmarking, and pay-equity initiatives, partnering with HR and Finance to deliver compliant, scalable pay practices.

You will translate data into clear recommendations, benchmark roles, and maintain compensation structures. Central Time Zone preferred, travel may be required for onsite collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of compensation experience with market pricing and analytics.
• Experience with job architecture, compensation structures, and data analysis.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data presentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead market pricing and benchmarking using surveys and internal data.
• Recommend salary ranges, geographic differentials, and hiring targets.
• Develop pricing for new roles, releveling, and reorganizations with documented methods.
• Maintain benchmark job matches and coordinate annual survey participation.
• Support job architecture development and compensation structure maintenance.
• Provide data-backed guidance for hiring, promotions, and mobility.
