Job summary

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Knoxville in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Care Representative to be the first point of contact for pet owners in urgent situations.

You will manage check-ins, answer questions, coordinate with veterinarians and staff, process payments, maintain medical records, and help deliver compassionate service during emergencies and specialty visits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of veterinary client service or receptionist experience.
• Emergency, specialty, or urgent care exposure is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to stay calm in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with empathy and professionalism.
• Manage patient check-ins/check-outs and scheduling.
• Answer questions and address client concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to ensure seamless care.
• Process payments and maintain financial records accurately.
