Calusa Veterinary Center in Boca Raton is seeking a dedicated veterinary receptionist. The role focuses on front desk duties, client communication, and smooth daily operations in a high-volume practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service in medical or veterinary setting.
• Strong customer service with clear verbal and written communication.
• Experience with scheduling, phone systems, data entry, and payments/POS.
• Excellent organization; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; quick to learn new software.
• Reliable, punctual and professional; works well in a team.
• Genuine affinity for animals and comfort in a clinical setting.
• Veterinary software experience (Cornerstone/Avimark/ImproMed/eVetPractice/ezyVet) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients at the front desk.
• Answer multi-line calls and manage scheduling inquiries.
• Process payments and schedule future appointments.
• Provide compassionate service to anxious clients about their pets.
• Data entry and record maintenance in the practice management system.
• Coordinate with clinical staff and relay urgent messages.
• Keep reception and waiting area clean and welcoming.
