VCA Commack Animal Hospital in Huntington, NY seeks an Experienced Client Service Representative to join our full-time team. As the face of the hospital, you greet clients, manage appointments, explain fees, and help guide pets and their owners through exams with compassion.

You will handle scheduling, outbound follow-ups, product recommendations, medical record management, and uphold a neat, welcoming facility. We offer competitive pay and a robust benefits package including pet care discounts.

Qualifications

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance and keeping the facility neat and clean.
