Job summary

Responsibilities include greeting clients, updating medical records, answering calls, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and assisting with end-of-life discussions when needed. Veterinary software experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software such as Cornerstone, Avimark, ImproMed, eVetPractice, or ezyVet.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients, verify and update medical records, and confirm appointment details using practice management software.
• Answer and manage a multi-line telephone system, respond to inquiries re scheduling, prescriptions, vaccination records, and general hospital information.
• Process client check-out, including payments, posting charges, explaining invoices, and scheduling follow-ups.
