PetVet Care Centers’ Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group - Ventura is seeking a Care Coordinator to join our team. The role combines administrative duties with frontline client service in a hospital setting, supporting doctors and staff throughout the day.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older to be considered.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills and courteous, prompt assistance.
• 2+ years of Veterinary Receptionist experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and information about services and products.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing.
• Assists with retail sales, weighs pets, processes faxes, and maintains records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate transactions.
