Job summary

Nurse Next Door SAN-Mate is hiring compassionate Home Care Aides to support seniors at home in California. This role offers flexible shifts from 10 to 40 hours per week, with options in mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights.

Caregivers provide nonmedical assistance, follow care plans, and maintain client comfort and safety. Must be 18+, registered, with background check and training compliant with CA regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Current registration with the California Home Care Aide Registry.
• Criminal background check required.
• Evidence of entry-level training or plan to complete paid training.
• TB testing completed.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Self-directing with minimal supervision.
• Empathy for ill and frail.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs and personal care.
• Follow the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Support meals planning and preparation.
• Assist with transfers and mobility as trained.
• Help with light housekeeping and errands.
• Record hours and report changes in client condition.
