Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities in a respectful and compassionate manner. The role emphasizes maintaining dignity while assisting with routine care per assessment and service plans.

You will work as part of a care team, performing ADLs, mobility assistance, and social engagement while adhering to facility policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents using safe techniques.
• Communicate incidents and changes in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices.
• Encourage participation in social activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident requests for care.
• Observe and report changes in residents' emotional state to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety protocols.
• Check residents per schedule to meet personal care needs.
• Assist in safety drills and maintain safe environment.
• Perform other essential job-related duties as assigned.
