Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a part-time Caregiver to provide routine daily care for residents in a respectful manner according to the assessment and service plan. Shifts include day and evening, with every other weekend/holiday.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements.
• Preference for 6+ months of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Move and transfer residents safely using proper techniques.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to a supervisor promptly.
• Encourage participation in activities and socialization.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Observe and report changes in resident emotional state to nursing staff.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
