Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Caregiver to provide residents with routine daily care in a compassionate, respectful manner aligned with assessment plans. The role supports residents and helps maintain a home-like environment for those in our care.

The shift is 2pm–10:30pm, .5 FTE, with every other weekend and holiday required. Wage ranges from $19 to $27 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Preferred 6 months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Help move and transfer residents using proper techniques to ensure safety.
• Communicate any changes or concerns to a supervisor promptly.
• Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as directed.
• Encourage participation in activities and outings and assist as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident requests for care and provide assistance as needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' emotional condition to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
• Ensure personal care needs are met according to service schedule.
• Participate in safety drills as required.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
